Gianna Carabez is a paralegal with Anderson & Boback. As a paralegal, Gianna assists the attorneys in the firm with organizing and maintaining case files, preparing legal documents and correspondence, answering discovery, and performing legal and factual research.
Prior to her current position, Gianna was a toxic-tort paralegal, assisting in premises and product liability cases. She graduated from Loyola University with a Bachelor’s degree in English in 2013. During her time at Loyola, she volunteered with Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago as a mentor to a refugee family from Iran. She then went on to earn her Litigation Practice Certificate from Loyola University’s paralegal program in 2015. While completing her certificate, Gianna was a paralegal extern at the Chicago Transit Authority in their law department.
