Genevieve Binnie

Genevieve Binnie practiced family law and represented clients at a boutique law firm in the suburbs of Chicago prior to joining the Anderson Boback & Marshall legal team. Genevieve worked as a summer extern for a highly respected Cook County domestic relations Judge prior to graduating law school, and also volunteered with the DePaul Law Domestic Violence Practicum where she assisted domestic violence victims in obtaining orders of protection. Genevieve was also accepted into the prestigious DePaul University Law School – Schiller DuCanto & Fleck Family Law Center Fellowship Program where her interest and specialization in family law began.

Genevieve concentrates her practice on divorce and post-divorce matters, parentage and custody cases, as well as drafting premarital and postmarital agreements. Beyond Being a Lawyer

When she is not advocating for her clients, Genevieve enjoys traveling to new destinations with her husband, domestic and international, and exploring the city with her rescue beagle, Joey. Genevieve was a former college track athlete at Loyola University Chicago (Go Ramblers!) and still enjoys running for fun. Genevieve is also an avid Chicago sports fan and attends many Blackhawks, White Sox, and Bears games each year.
